About Basic Seasonal

LEGO has produced various seasonal and holiday-themed sets over the years. These sets often coincide with holidays like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Valentine's Day, among others. The LEGO Basic theme, which began in the 1970s, was designed to be a more general, non-thematic series of sets. Unlike the themed sets that revolve around concepts, the Basic theme provided a collection of standard LEGO bricks and pieces.

Seasonal consists of 18 sets that ran from 1977 to 2000. As of today, 246-2 Santa and Sleigh is the most valuable Seasonal set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $148.
