If viewed from the front this sets looks like a rock with some twigs growing out of it, however turn it around we get this awesome little hideout complete with catapult, chest... More and a completely unnecessary ladder.”

About Castle Dark Forest

The Dark Forest subtheme released in 1996 consisted of only 3 sets and were primarily only available in North America. Dark Forest is a somewhat continuation of the Forestmen subtheme which was discontinued in 1990 as it reused the same crest and used other environment structures such as forest hideouts.

Dark Forest was introduced in 1996 and currently consists of 3 sets. As of today, 6079 Dark Forest Fortress is the most valuable Dark Forest set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,680.
