LEGO Cowboys was the first Western sets released in the theme and focused on sheriffs fighting against outlaws as well as a military presence in the old west while the few sets that featured civilians simply served as a back drop for bandits robbing carriages or banks. The Cowboys' subtheme was the first LEGO sets that introduced realistic fire arms such as revolvers and rifles.
Cowboys consists of 12 sets that ran from 1996 to 2002. As of today,
6769 Fort Legoredo is the most valuable Cowboys set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,247.
Summary
Western Cowboys Bandit's Secret Hide-Out set 6761 was released in August 1996, retailing for $40, but has since been retired. New, unopened Bandit's Secret Hide-Out sets are valued at $555, while used sets can be found for $135 in good condition.
