LEGO 6979 Interstellar Starfighter was a 292 piece Space set with 3 minifigs released in 1997. It is the only the only LEGO set that includes fiber optics. It comes with 8 fiber optic cables and a battery box. It was also called "Xinterstella VYoyager".

The front portion has room for one pilot, as well as a few control panels and a box. The wings have magnets on the top of... More them and all wings have thrusters and lasers on them.
