1990 LEGO Sets
In 1990, LEGO released several new sets and themes, including the LEGO Pirates theme, which introduced models of pirate ships, islands, and treasure. 1990 was also the year that LEGO introduced the LEGO Fabuland theme, which was a line of sets featuring anthropomorphic animal characters living in a fictional town.
