“Yep, this is the creator of the Monster! But even without that bit of exposition, the Mad (sorry, Crazy) Scientist is a fantastic LEGO figure that hits all the right notes. Wearing a splatter lab jacket that’s covered in god-knows-what, there isn’t much on the figure for... More paint. The legs are black with a white waist that helps make the jacket seem longer.”

About Minifigure Series Series 4

The Minifigures Series 4 (8804) is the fourth series of collectable minifigures, released on April 2011 in most countries and contained 16 different minifigs. The bump code system that was introduced in Series 3 was used again changed from batch to batch of production.

Series 4 was introduced in 2011 and currently consists of 19 sets. As of today, Series 4 Sealed Box is the most valuable Series 4 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $507.

The Crazy Scientist really loves mad science. He's got all the right equipment: a spooky old laboratory, shelves of beakers and tubes full of bubbling liquids, and even one of those antenna things with the little bolts of lightning that go up and down. He's still looking for just the right creepy assistant, but he's sure that one will answer his ad soon.

On the other hand, there are the experiments. The Monster was one, but just like the rest, it didn't turn out quite as planned. It was supposed to be all evil and scary, but instead it turned out friendly and nice. No matter how hard he may try, the Crazy Scientist can't seem to create anything really bad. He just doesn't know where he's going wrong, and it's driving him crazy!
