“Relay Runner is a decent attempt by Lego to capture the spirit of one of the more exciting and high profile Olympic events, Athletics. Seeing that track athletes don’t have props and usually just rely on their legs to compete, there wasn’t really much that Lego could do to... More jazz it up beyond this. The Relay Runner sports the same spiky hairpiece as Series 6’s Sleepyhead, and is attired in pretty traditional looking track singlet.”

The Team GB Minifigures (8909) is a special series of collectable minifigures released specifically for the London 2012 Olympic Games. It features nine athlete minifigures in Team GB sports gear and were only released in stores in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Team GB was introduced in 2012 and currently consists of 12 sets. As of today, Team GB Sealed Box is the most valuable Team GB set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,506.
