Dino 2010 was a LEGO theme released in 2005 that followed the Dino Attack theme. The Dino 2010 sets are slightly different from the Dino Attack counterparts. These sets take place after Dino Attack and are identical but instead of large weapons the sets have grappling hooks and other non-lethal weapons and large cages for capturing mutant dinosaurs as opposed to killing them. Dino 2010 sets were only released in Europe, while Dino Attack was in North America and Australia.

2005 shaped up to be a significant year for LEGO collections. Starting with the fact that LEGO System celebrated its 50th anniversary, we also saw a LEGO set designers change their techniques in set designing. 2006 marked the year that the skin color of the Star Wars minifigures changed from yellow to light nougat which also continued to various other future licensed themes. While this was a simple change, the value of sets saw high growth. 2006 introduced the LEGO City theme which replaced the Town theme, as well as Tiny Turbos under the Racers theme.
