About Seasonal Chinese New Year

The Chinese zodiac consists of twelve animals – rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. This cycle repeats every twelve years. Starting in 2013, the LEGO Group added a number of sets to celebrate the Chinese New Year, with each set depicting an animal represented in the Chinese zodiac.

Chinese New Year was introduced in 2013 and currently consists of 11 sets. As of today, 40207 Year of the Monkey is the most valuable Chinese New Year set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $140.
