Is this LEGO set a good investment?
“Over that last few years The Final Joust has been a particularly good investment for Castle collectors with an annualized growth of upwards of 11.8% per year. However, there is market indication that the set will experience a slight annual growth decrease in the coming years, but this should be only by a few percentage points at most. When compared to the vast majority of set in the Castle theme, this set is still an excellent investment for collectors.”

“The Final Joust was released in 2007 for Castle. A fully armed knight his horse joust against the black skeleton knight and his skeleton steed. Various accessories, a jousting fence, and a weapons rack are included. Overall, I'm glad I bought this, I got some enjoyment out... More of it, and I sometimes regretted not buying more than one, but the other small sets in the Castle line typically seemed like a better buy.”

About Castle Fantasy Era

The Castle theme is one of LEGO’s primary themes first introduced in 1978 and based around medieval life with castles and knights. It is currently the third longest-lived theme in LEGO history. Over the years it saw numerous changes thus introducing various fantasy elements.

Fantasy Era consists of 19 sets that ran from 2007 to 2009. As of today, 7029 Skeleton Ship Attack is the most valuable Fantasy Era set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $768.
