“Overall, this is a nice little set for Cars' fans. It includes two of the most popular characters, as well as a bit of background to add to playability. As one would expect, the main goal of this kind of set is to prompt you to buy more, and it has been achieved pretty well.... More On the other hand, even if I do not expect anybody to go army-building with Guido and Luigi, it is a nice and cheap way to get more characters.”

Luigi's only available in this set and the much more expensive 8679 Tokyo International Circuit so for completists who want to collect every minicar, it's a nice cheap opportunity to pick up some core characters but I'd still recommend... More waiting for a sale to pick up the duo.”

About Cars

The LEGO Cars 2 theme, introduced in 2011, was based on the Disney-Pixar animated film Cars 2. This LEGO series brought to life the movie's iconic characters and scenes, offering fans a range of sets that included stylized, brick-built versions of characters like Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Francesco Bernoulli. Through these sets, fans could recreate racing sequences, espionage adventures, and other memorable moments from the film in LEGO form.

Cars 2 consists of 19 sets that ran from 2011 to 2012. As of today, 8679 Tokyo International Circuit is the most valuable Cars 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $240.
