The LEGO Ideas Book Reviews
“This book is not an instruction manual. While it provides pictures and is pretty lengthy at 200 pages, the book does not give step by step detail of the models. The models are intended for inspiration. Tips are provided but I feel that the books is intended to give LEGO fans... More with a penchant for using their own imagination rather than instruction guides as a start-off point. You will get tons of ideas as each page is filled with ideas but you will largely have to use your own creativity to fill in the blanks.”

Bricksfanz
“I know this sort of book can frustrate some people due to the lack of instructions, but it clearly states the book is an inspirational guide to help builders create models with their own LEGO bricks. The lack of physical bricks also makes the book less appealing to many. I... More would like to see these sorts of books include a bag of random parts, even if it was something like the Build a Duck polybag. Just to give it more of a connection to the heart of the LEGO brand – the LEGO brick.”
