Prediction Insights

Mass-retail availability and frequent variant churn kept the Race Car Driver a common minifigure, limiting upside, and Octan E branding supplies modest collector interest that produced only low momentum after retirement.

Minifig Facts

The Race Car Driver minifigure is characterized by a dark blue racing jacket and matching legs, both adorned with the 'Octan E' logo, a nod to the fictional energy company within the LEGO universe. This minifigure is equipped with a white helmet featuring a transparent visor, providing a classic racing appearance. The facial expression includes a confident smile, typical of LEGO minifigures. This minifigure was first included in the 60256 Racing Cars set, released in 2020 under the City theme and Traffic subtheme.

About City Traffic

The Traffic minifigures are the ordinary working people and drivers of LEGO City. Mechanics, truck drivers, tow truck operators, recycling workers and road crews make up most of them, often in blue overalls or high-visibility vests, and many mechanics wear the logo of Octan, LEGO's own fuel brand. Around them come the drivers of sports cars, campers and monster trucks, families heading off on holiday, a farmer, a vet and the vendors of the food trucks, such as the Penguin Slushy Vendor. Small nods to LEGO history turn up in the printing, like jackets with the Classic Space logo. Most of these figures carry no name, only a job or an outfit.
