Prediction Insights

A nostalgia-tinted minifigure, Octan Driver shows only modest collector interest and has produced flat-to-declining market performance, with common parts and frequent Octan variants creating many substitutes and limiting long-term upside.

Minifig Facts

The Octan Driver minifigure features a blue torso adorned with the Octan logo and an "OIL" label, indicative of its association with the fictional Octan corporation within the LEGO universe. The minifigure is equipped with blue legs and a blue helmet, complemented by a trans-light blue visor. Yellow hands contrast with the predominantly blue color scheme, and the minifigure has a classic LEGO smile. This minifigure first appeared in the set 6424 Rig Racers, released in 1998, under the Town theme and Vehicles subtheme.

About Town Vehicles

The Town Vehicles minifigures are the drivers of LEGO Town's cars and trucks from 1980 to 1998. Truckers in caps make up a good share of them, along with delivery drivers, crane operators and tow truck crews in overalls or zipped jackets. Some carry the logo of the fuel company of the set, Shell or, later, Octan, and a few racing drivers and police officers turn up too. Most have plain or simply printed torsos and the classic smiling face, and none has a name.
