About Books Dorling Kindersley
The minifigures that come with Dorling Kindersley books are often versions not found in any set, which makes some of the books a source collectors look for. The DC books have brought Batman as Yellow Lantern, Pirate Batman and Batman in an electro suit, and Val-Zod, the Superman of Earth-2. The Star Wars books have figures such as Darth Maul as the Crimson Dawn crime lord, Darth Maul with a 25 Years of LEGO Star Wars print, a white Boba Fett and the rebel pilot Zin Evalon. Others honour LEGO history, such as a classic orange spaceman, or come with the Ninjago, Marvel and City books.
