Review for LEGO set 1063 Community Workers from BrickEconomy
“The 1985 LEGO Dacta Town Community Workers set was an educational release designed to teach children about everyday professions through hands-on play. It included 24 minifigures representing roles such as police officers, doctors, mechanics, and firefighters, along with 115... More accessories for scene building and customization. Though simple in structure, the set offered strong educational value, emphasizing social awareness and creativity. As part of LEGO’s Dacta line, it served as a classroom resource rather than a retail product, making it a rare and historically significant set for collectors today.”

About Dacta Town

The Dacta Town minifigures are town figures from the LEGO Dacta education range, used in schools for building and role play. Most have the simple torsos of the early minifigure years, plain colours, suits with three buttons, overalls with a pocket and jackets with zippers, with the classic smiling face. Among them are police officers, a postal worker, construction workers, truckers, a footballer in a numbered shirt and townspeople in everyday clothes. They have no names, only the jobs their clothes suggest.
