“This set is a great example of the over simplification of Lego in the late 90s and early 2000s. A six wheeled tow truck in this set is made with just 30 pieces, while a model of the same vehicle made just 5 years earlier or later would have used significantly more.”

About Town City
The Town City minifigures are the townspeople of LEGO Town's last years, from 1997 to 2000. Many wear the logo of Octan, LEGO's own fuel company, on their caps, jackets and overalls, and the mechanics and repair crews wear red overalls printed with a wrench. The emergency services have their own uniforms, firefighters with a flame badge and coast guards in red and white, and police officers with a sheriff star. Construction workers, a TV pilot and drivers in leather jackets fill out the rest.
