This minifigure of a male racer wears a black jacket with a zipper and matching black legs. He also has a black helmet fitted with a trans-light blue visor. The character first appeared in the 1988 Town set 6395 Victory Lap Raceway. He later came in three other Town Racing sets, including 1517 Black Racing Car from 1989 and 1665 Dual FX Racers from 1990. His final release was the 1993 Town set 1992 Dragsters.

About Town Racing
The Town Racing minifigures are the drivers, pit crews and race officials of LEGO's racing sets from 1980 to 1999. Drivers wear jackets with zippers and racing stripes, many with numbers or team logos, and helmets with visors. Until the early 1990s some figures carry the Shell logo, and from 1992 the Octan team took over, so most later racers and mechanics wear Octan on their torso and cap. Eddie Octane is one of the few named drivers. Truck drivers, race officials in vests and spectators fill out the larger sets.
