1977 LEGO Minifigs

In 1977, LEGO introduced 10 new minifigures across 2 themes from 13 sets, all of which have since been retired.
In 1977, LEGO was on the verge of a major transformation. Sets from this year still used the larger, non-articulated figures introduced in the mid-1970s, alongside simple brick-built characters. Town, Space, and Castle themes were in early conceptual stages, setting the groundwork for the debut of the modern minifigure the following year.
