LEGO 064-1 Large Base Plates is a Samsonite Supplemental set released in 1969, containing 5 pieces. The pack includes five early 10 x 20 base plates without bottom tubes and with “+” cross supports, comprising three white and two blue. Issued by Samsonite during LEGO’s U.S. distribution era, it was sold exclusively in the United States as a supplemental parts pack for expanding building layouts. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $40 within the next year.
Large Base Plates (064-1) is a very old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Because of its scarcity, the current estimated value of in new condition of $37.39 may be much lower than its true market value.
