BrickEconomy Expert Review
“The Martinair DC-9 build uses a straightforward plate-based structure with printed window bricks and simple sticker details that clearly outline the aircraft’s shape. Even in a small format, the model captures the look of the jet effectively, making it an interesting example of early LEGO promotional design.”

The LEGOLAND theme was foundational in the evolution of LEGO, bridging the gap between basic brick building and the more themed, narrative-driven sets that would become standard in subsequent years.
