The unique tree construction showcases creative techniques, including recessed elements and connections between studs, enhancing the build experience. While the torso print quality on Alex could be improved, the set delivers excellent value and a clever play feature for a really cheap price.”

“Lush Caves are underground areas found in Minecraft. They are often filled with plants including azalea plants. Although the set only features a small section of scenery, it includes a trio of plants. One of these is a recolored old-school plant element. The set also... More includes two minifigures, Alex and a Skeleton. These aren’t unique, but it’s good to see two characters featured in such a small set.”

About Minecraft Minifig-scale

The LEGO Minecraft theme is based on the video game Minecraft and a collaboration between Mojang and the LEGO Group. Sets in this theme were all based on the traditional LEGO minifigure scale. Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Notch (Markus Persson) and later developed and published by Mojang / Microsoft. The official release occurred in 2013 with the first set, Minecraft: Micro World: The Forest, released under LEGO Ideas and was created by Mojang through the LEGO CUUSOO program in 2012. At MineCon 2013, LEGO announced brand new minifigure-scale Minecraft sets.

Minifig-scale was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 109 sets. As of today, 21137 The Mountain Cave is the most valuable Minifig-scale set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,813.
