The set builds a small hospital with a driveway for an ambulance, a rooftop red cross, and an unfurnished interior. It includes a unique 24x32 green baseplate with a dots pattern that was only used in this set and the U.S. counterpart. The minifigures are early-style LEGOLAND figures with non-articulated torsos and legs, and the set was released in Europe, the UK, Australia, and Canada as the regional equivalent to U.S. set 555.

Hospital (363-1) is a very old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Because of its scarcity, the current estimated value of in new condition of $1,094.32 may be much lower than its true market value. Released in 1975, sealed sets in good condition are especially difficult to find, often commanding a premium well above estimates.
