LEGO 423-3 Curved and Round Bricks is a Classic Supplemental set released in 1966 under the LEGO The Building Toy branding. The set contains 28 pieces and is a parts pack centered on round elements, including 1x1 round bricks and 2x2 round-corner macaroni bricks. Early assortments were issued in different two-color combinations, including red and white, blue and yellow, and black and trans-clear. The included elements reflect LEGO’s early supplemental parts range, which was intended to expand basic building possibilities with specialized shapes. About Classic Supplemental

Supplemental sets are the parts packs of the 1960s, sold so that builders could add to a basic set the bits they needed most. They held windows and doors in frames, plates in several sizes, corner bricks, gates and fences, turntables, wheels with axles and train couplers. Many of these parts were new at the time, and the packs were often the first way to get them, like the wheels LEGO introduced in 1962.

Supplemental consists of 140 sets that ran from 1960 to 1971. As of today, 890-2 Lockable Storage Box is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $445.
