LEGO 456-3 Lighting Device is a Samsonite Supplemental set released in 1966, containing 3 pieces. The accessory centers on a trans-clear 2x4 4.5V light brick with a removable bulb, connected via a 48-stud wire with four red 1-prong connectors. A white modified 1x2 brick with a cable-holding cutout is included to route the lead through builds. Issued by Samsonite for the North American market, it corresponds to early LEGO 4.5V lighting components found in contemporaneous lighting bricks and device packs.
