About Education Science
The LEGO Education Computer Science & AI subtheme is a 2026 classroom-ready, standards-aligned learning line that introduces students to computer science and artificial intelligence through hands-on LEGO building paired with the block-based LEGO Education Coding Canvas. The line launched with three grade-band kits shipping in April 2026: 45520 for grades K-2, 45521 for grades 3-5, and 45522 for grades 6-8. The grade 6-8 kit contains 379 bricks along with interactive hardware including a double motor, single motor, color sensor, controller, connection cards, a USB charging cable, and a stackable storage box. Designed for groups of four students, kits are sold standalone or as larger classroom bundles.
Science was introduced in 2025 and currently consists of 19 sets.
