“This set is special because it was the first set to be released with a chest and oddly enough the chest was a light grey colour so possibly this is the rarest chest ever. The singular Falcon is sufficient to guard the chest because it comes with nothing in it.”

About Castle Black Falcons

The Black Falcons were an early faction of LEGO's Castle theme and were introduced together with the Crusaders in 1984 when LEGO relaunched their Castle theme after the discontinuation of the first knights faction. The Black Falcons name is not actually official as the name comes from the set 6074 Black Falcon's Fortress. The Black Falcons subtheme and faction was discontinued in 1992.

Black Falcons consists of 7 sets that ran from 1984 to 2002. As of today, 6073 Knight's Castle is the most valuable Black Falcons set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,263.
