60521 LEGO City Race Car vs. Speed Boat

LEGO 60521 Race Car vs. Speed Boat is a rumored City set due in January 2027, with an expected retail price of $34.99. It is one of 19 rumored City sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Race Car vs. Speed Boat is a rumored medium-sized LEGO City duel pack with a low, ground-hugging race car lined up against a compact speed boat for water races. It is expected to include two driver minifigures, with one in basic racing gear for the car and one in life-preserver gear for the boat, plus track and water race markers like buoys or a checkered flag.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Standard City vehicle sets in regular retail channels have usually produced modest post-retirement gains, and a small race car versus speed boat pairing fits that pattern more than the stronger City niches tied to trains, service buildings, or short-run exclusives. The dual-vehicle format and two driver minifigures add some collector interest, but broad availability and the theme's frequent vehicle refresh cycle tend to limit upside.
