67016 LEGO Spider-Man Peni's SP//dr Mech

LEGO 67016 Peni's SP//dr Mech is a rumored Marvel Super Heroes set due in April 2027, with an expected retail price of $54.99. It is one of 12 rumored Marvel Super Heroes sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Peni's SP//dr Mech is centered on the anime-style SP//dr build, which goes for rounded panels, curved slopes, and long limbs so it can hit low, spider-like crouches while still holding together. The set lands in a dedicated Beyond the Spider-Verse wave and comes in as a medium-sized build. Peni Parker appears for the first time as a minifigure, with a cockpit that opens so she can sit in the chest beside Miles Morales and The Spot, who gets new "dark matter" printing.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Marvel mechs sold through regular retail have usually been uneven after retirement, but SP//dr is not a standard armor suit format and that difference matters. A medium-sized Spider-Verse set built around Peni Parker's first minifigure, a dedicated cockpit mech, and an updated Spot variant has better collector depth than most Marvel mechs, though broad retail availability keeps the ceiling in check.

About Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Man

SpiderMan holds the Marvel sets built around Spider-Man and his villains that are not tied to one of the films. Spider-Man had a LEGO theme of his own in 2002 to 2004, with sets from the Sam Raimi films, and he moved under Marvel Super Heroes when that theme started in 2012. Venom is the most frequent opponent, often as a mech or a monster, alongside Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Mysterio, Sandman and Carnage, and Miles Morales has had sets of his own since 2021.

Spider-Man was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 61 sets. As of today, 76178 Daily Bugle is the most valuable Spider-Man set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $555.
