Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu is based on the eleventh season of Ninjago. Sets in the theme are based on the ninja's new vehicles from this season and focused on either the Desert of Doom or the Never-Realm with the collectable items being the Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu. This was the first set wave to feature Spinjitzu-Slam spinners.
