Set Value (New/Sealed)

This represents the current new/sealed value of the set Electric Crossing since January 1974. Medium accuracy
LEGO 756-1 Electric Crossing is a Trains 4.5V/12V accessory released in 1974, containing 5 pieces. The set features a blue-track four-way crossing designed to create perpendicular intersections in layouts from the blue track era. It is compatible with both 4.5V battery-operated and 12V electrified systems used in LEGO trains of the 1970s. The crossing integrates with standard blue rails to expand routing options in vintage layouts. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $50 within the next year.
Electric Crossing (756-1) is a very old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Because of its scarcity, the current estimated value of in new condition of $48.07 may be much lower than its true market value. Released in 1974, sealed sets in good condition are especially difficult to find, often commanding a premium well above estimates.

“The Lego 756 Electric Crossing is a revamp of the 155: Cross Rails from 1967, but now electrified. There is not much significant differences, other than you can snap these pieces together, but with the 4.5 line you couldn’t.”

About Trains 4.5V / 12V

4512V covers the LEGO trains of the 4.5 V and 12 V systems from the 1970s and 1980s. The 4.5 V trains ran on batteries carried in a wagon or tender, while the 12 V trains drew power from conductor rails laid between the running rails, fed by a transformer with a speed control. Until 1980 the track was blue, which gave these years the name of the Blue Era.

4.5V / 12V consists of 83 sets that ran from 1972 to 1986. As of today, 7750 Steam Engine with Tender is the most valuable 4.5V / 12V set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $6,368.
