Set Facts
- It’s also called the Blackbird but licensing issues may have caused LEGO to use the alternative name.
- The collection includes four minifigures: Magneto, known for his control over magnetism; Cyclops, a founding member and leader of the X-Men; Rogue, who hails from the South and has the power to absorb the abilities of other mutants temporarily; and, it wouldn't be complete without the iconic James Howlett, also known as Logan, Weapon X, or Wolverine.

X-Men Jet Reviews
The Brothers Brick
“I found that set to be an incredibly satisfying and charming build that, while priced frustratingly high, was still a solid offering from LEGO with a lot of play value and really strong minifigures. I wish I could say the same about the X-Jet. I mean, don’t get me wrong,... More it’s good; a well-engineered design with some interesting pieces. But there are just a few little missing details that make it feel like not as strong an effort as the Hoopty. I’ve probably got the parts on hand to fix any of my gripes with the X-Jet. But at nearly a quarter per piece, I shouldn’t have to dig into my own collection to fix anything.”
The Brick Fan
“The new set does have a more accurate look for the X-Jet/Blackbird that I like and it does have updated minifigures for Cyclops and Magneto for the upcoming series. Also, we get a new X-Men character with Rogue. I love the X-Men theme but I feel like this set will be going... More the way of The Hoopty and will sit on shelves when people realize that it’s overpriced for what you get.”
