“The bulk of the build is obviously the Sentinel itself, and it’s pretty much great. The design is obviously not LEGOs decision, but even then it’s pretty close to perfect, although the face design from the X-Mansion sentinel is better, and the grey vent on the front instead... More of some sort of power core could be improved. Compared to something like Galactus from the Fantastic Four: First Steps set, I really appreciate the bulk of the Sentinels design.”

Although it’s designed to be a display piece, it can also be played with thanks to the Sentinel being removable from the base. I like that the set features a... More cool spread of characters, and even more surprising is that it has print detail on the legs, and they look so much better for it. That’s not to say the set has a couple of issues. Mystique’s hair is one, and I’d have liked to see Reed Richards wearing his goofy jacket, just to make the minifigure a little more unique.”
