“The T. Rex River Escape set offers a new dark-toned T. rex with exclusive prints and a dynamic crash-through play feature, but the simplified builds and high price raise questions. The cabin’s lack of a roof, basic raft and buggy designs, and the limited part count give it the feel of a 4+ set despite being labeled for ages 5+. While the two detailed minifigures and the printed dinosaur add value, the $50 price point still feels steep for what’s included.”
