About LEGO Explore

The LEGO Explore theme was designed by the LEGO Group together with experts in child development. Released in 2002, its sets used LEGO DUPLO elements built around discovery, with each kind of play matched to a step in a child's early development.

Explore introduced four universes, each supporting a certain step in children's development. Explore Being Me was about discovering who I am and what I can do, Explore Together about learning to share and interact with others, Explore Imagination about expressing personality and creativity, and Explore Logic about understanding how things work.
