Space Police was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 1989 that consisted of 6 sets and was the first of three Space Police subthemes. The storly line was based on the Space Police, a group of brave individuals that kept order between the Blacktron faction (the bad guys) and the civilian Futuron faction.

The Space Police subtheme features three spaceships, two wheeled vehicles and a ground-based space station that most came with a Space Police jail cell and would often include a Blacktron occupant.
