About LEGO Town Construction

LEGO Construction is a subtheme of the Town introduced in 1980 and ran until 1997 that was based around various types of construction. Town Construction was later moved to the City theme.
1983 LEGO Sets
In 1983, LEGO continued to expand its product offerings, with notable developments in both historical and preschool-focused themes. This year saw significant growth in the LEGO Castle theme, which had been introduced in 1978. Castle sets allowed builders to immerse themselves in medieval adventures, featuring knights, fortresses, and siege weaponry. While early sets focused on realistic medieval warfare, the theme would later incorporate fantasy elements such as dragons and wizards.
