The Castle theme is one of LEGO’s primary themes first introduced in 1978 and based around medieval life with castles and knights. It is currently the third longest-lived theme in LEGO history. Over the years it saw numerous changes thus introducing various fantasy elements.
1984 LEGO Sets
1984 marked the launch of the LEGO Space "Futuron" subtheme, which introduced a more futuristic and modern design aesthetic to the broader Space theme, captivating fans with new minifigures, vehicles, and space bases. Additionally, 1984 saw the birth of the LEGO Castle "Crusaders" and "Black Falcons" factions, enriching the Castle theme with more intricate storylines and detailed sets.
