About LEGO Duplo Dino

The LEGO DUPLO Dino sets, released in 2008, introduce young children to the world of dinosaurs through imaginative play. Notable sets include "Dino Valley" (5598), which features a large buildable landscape with various dinosaurs and a cave; "Dino Trap" (5597), which includes a trap mechanism, a vehicle, and a dinosaur; and "Dino Birthday" (5596), featuring a dinosaur-themed birthday party with a cake and decorations. These sets are designed to engage preschool-aged children in creative play while sparking an interest in prehistoric life.
2008 LEGO Sets
2008 celebrated two milestones: the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick and the 30th anniversary of the minifigure. LEGO Cuusoo (later LEGO Ideas) launched in Japan, paving the way for fan-designed sets. Indiana Jones joined Star Wars as LEGO’s second Lucasfilm theme, and Speed Racer appeared briefly alongside it. In-house lines included Agents and the debut of LEGO Architecture, aimed at adult collectors. The Green Grocer (10185) further elevated the Modular Buildings line, confirming its status among LEGO’s most prestigious collections.
