About Duplo LEGO Ville

The DUPLO LEGO Ville theme is a subset of the larger DUPLO line, focusing on urban and community settings. These sets feature recognizable scenarios such as farms, police stations, and fire departments, along with figures and vehicles relevant to each setting.
2008 LEGO Sets
2008 celebrated two milestones: the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick and the 30th anniversary of the minifigure. LEGO Cuusoo (later LEGO Ideas) launched in Japan, paving the way for fan-designed sets. Indiana Jones joined Star Wars as LEGO’s second Lucasfilm theme, and Speed Racer appeared briefly alongside it. In-house lines included Agents and the debut of LEGO Architecture, aimed at adult collectors. The Green Grocer (10185) further elevated the Modular Buildings line, confirming its status among LEGO’s most prestigious collections.
