About LEGO Exclusive Minifigure Collection
The LEGO Minifigure Collections (not to be confused with LEGO CMF), active from 2008 to 2016, comprise multiple sets of diverse minifigure assortments. Notable entries include the Vintage Minifigure Collection volumes, such as Vol 1 (2008), Vol 2 (2009), and Vol 5 (2010), each offering a selection of five classic minifigures.
2008 LEGO Sets
2008 celebrated two milestones: the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick and the 30th anniversary of the minifigure. LEGO Cuusoo (later LEGO Ideas) launched in Japan, paving the way for fan-designed sets. Indiana Jones joined Star Wars as LEGO’s second Lucasfilm theme, and Speed Racer appeared briefly alongside it. In-house lines included Agents and the debut of LEGO Architecture, aimed at adult collectors. The Green Grocer (10185) further elevated the Modular Buildings line, confirming its status among LEGO’s most prestigious collections.
