About Exclusive LEGO Internal
LEGO Internal Sets are specially produced sets not intended for commercial sale but for internal use within the LEGO Group or as part of specific events or promotional activities. These sets often serve purposes such as employee gifts, event giveaways, or corporate gifts and are generally not available to the public. Examples include sets given to employees during holidays or milestone anniversaries and those created for special events like LEGO conventions or partnerships with other companies. Due to their limited production and unique context, Internal Sets are often highly sought after by collectors.
2012 LEGO Sets
2012 was a landmark year highlighted by LEGO’s 80th anniversary and major licensed expansions. LEGO The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit joined the lineup alongside Marvel and DC Super Heroes, establishing enduring partnerships with both comic universes. LEGO Friends debuted, introducing mini-doll figures and Heartlake City, becoming one of LEGO’s most successful modern themes. Other launches included Monster Fighters, Disney Princess, and Dino. Alien Conquest, Atlantis, Pharaoh’s Quest, Kingdoms, and Harry Potter retired, though Harry Potter would later return in 2018.
