About LEGO City Construction

Construction is the LEGO City subtheme for building sites, road works and the machines that go with them, almost all in the bright yellow LEGO has used for work vehicles since the Town theme. It was there from the first City year in 2005, when 7249 XXL Mobile Crane and 7243 Construction Site led the range.
2015 LEGO Sets
In 2015, LEGO broadened its portfolio with new and returning themes. LEGO Dimensions launched as a toys-to-life crossover linking dozens of franchises including DC, The Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who. New lines such as Elves, Jurassic World, Scooby-Doo, and Speed Champions debuted, while BIONICLE and Pirates returned in refreshed forms. City marked ten years under its modern branding, and Star Wars supported The Force Awakens with a major release wave. Meanwhile, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Hobbit concluded as LEGO shifted toward newer properties.
