About LEGO Exclusive Pick a Model
Pick a Model sets were small models sold in LEGO Stores between 2015 and 2019, made from the parts on the Pick a Brick wall and packed with instructions. They used the bricks the wall already held, so the models were simple and bright, mostly animals, vehicles and planes, such as a crocodile, a giraffe, a biplane and a jeep. Some were made for the city of the store that sold them, like a London guardsman, the Statue of Liberty and a Parisian figure with a beret.
2015 LEGO Sets
In 2015, LEGO broadened its portfolio with new and returning themes. LEGO Dimensions launched as a toys-to-life crossover linking dozens of franchises including DC, The Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who. New lines such as Elves, Jurassic World, Scooby-Doo, and Speed Champions debuted, while BIONICLE and Pirates returned in refreshed forms. City marked ten years under its modern branding, and Star Wars supported The Force Awakens with a major release wave. Meanwhile, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Hobbit concluded as LEGO shifted toward newer properties.
