The LEGO Star Wars Legends theme consists of sets based on the "Star Wars Legends" narrative, formerly known as the "Star Wars Expanded Universe." This line features content not considered part of the official Star Wars canon, encompassing a wide range of stories, characters, and vehicles from sources outside the main films, such as books, comics, and video games.
2015 LEGO Sets
In 2015, LEGO broadened its portfolio with new and returning themes. LEGO Dimensions launched as a toys-to-life crossover linking dozens of franchises including DC, The Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who. New lines such as Elves, Jurassic World, Scooby-Doo, and Speed Champions debuted, while BIONICLE and Pirates returned in refreshed forms. City marked ten years under its modern branding, and Star Wars supported The Force Awakens with a major release wave. Meanwhile, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Hobbit concluded as LEGO shifted toward newer properties.
