The LEGO DC Extended Universe (DCEU) theme consists of LEGO sets that are directly inspired by the live-action films of the DCEU. Starting in the 2010s, the DCEU began to launch a series of interconnected superhero films, such as Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman, and others. These LEGO sets are based on the characters, vehicles, and scenes from these movies and capture key moments from the films.

2019 marked 20 years of LEGO Star Wars with commemorative editions and retro-printed minifigures. LEGO acquired BrickLink, the leading secondary marketplace, deepening ties with the AFOL community. Hidden Side blended augmented reality with ghost-hunting builds, while pop-culture entries like Stranger Things and Overwatch reached new audiences. By this period, earlier in-house lines such as Nexo Knights and Elves had concluded.
