The Batman 1989 sets are based on the original Batman film released in 1989 directed by Tim Burton. It is the first installment of Warner Bros.' Batman film series. Sets in this subtheme currently consists of the Batmobile and Batwing. The release of the first set, the Batmobile, was to celebrate the film's 30th anniversary.
2020 LEGO Sets
In 2020, LEGO thrived despite global disruptions, debuting several new lines for both families and adult fans. LEGO Super Mario introduced interactive, course-building play; Monkie Kid launched with a modern take on Journey to the West; and creative-focused ranges such as DOTS, LEGO Art, and Brick Sketches broadened display and craft appeal. Creator Expert (later Icons) and Ideas delivered standout display sets, anchoring a strong year for collectors.
