Review for LEGO set 850939 Santa Set from Brickset
“This is a bit of a budget busting extension for a Winter Village - certainly with just this and a Winter Toy Shop set, it made it feel like I had a complete village just in the first year as it expanded the range sufficiently. But really, what you've got to remember is that... More this is just a card stand, two minifigs and enough bricks to make just two toys.”

About City Seasonal
The Seasonal minifigures come mostly from the LEGO City Advent Calendars, opened one door at a time in December. Santa Claus is in almost every one, in a different outfit each year, joined by elves, a snowman and an elf mailman. Each calendar also brings City people in winter clothes, ice hockey players, skaters and families, and children dressed as a Christmas tree, a polar bear or a reindeer. The police and their crooks are regulars too, including a prisoner in a striped jail suit. Many of these figures were made only for the calendar of their year.
