Review for LEGO set 6483 Coastal Patrol from
“This 1994 set delivers a well-designed police boat and dinghy, accompanied by three detailed minifigures with personalized faces—a feature introduced in the early '90s. The light and sound bricks, along with a motorized rotating radar, add a layer of interactivity, making it... More a standout set for its time.”
About Town Police
The Town Police minifigures are the officers and crooks of LEGO Town from 1981 to 2002. Most officers wear the classic police torso with a sheriff star and pockets, or a suit with four buttons, with white or black helmets for the motorcycle police and caps for the rest, and a policewoman with a ponytail joined them later. On the other side of the law is a crook known as Jailbreak Joe, in his prison outfit. Like other Town figures of the time, they have the classic smiling face.
