Review for LEGO set 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech from Bricktastic
“One of the most eye catching sets from the new LEGO Monkie Kid range was this – 80012 Monkey King Warrior Mech. With the gold and red color scheme, this is one beautiful looking build. Not only that but there are four little side builds and six minifigures included. The fact... More that this is LEGO impresses me, and I’ve seen some even more incredible things made out of the humble brick. If you have the opportunity to add this to your collection, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.”

About Monkie Kid A Hero is Born

The A Hero is Born minifigures tell the start of Monkie Kid, a story drawn from Journey to the West. Monkie Kid, the young delivery boy who becomes a hero, comes in his orange jacket with headphones, and the Monkey King himself appears as his mentor. His friends include Pigsy, Mei and Sandy, a big figure, and the shopkeepers and townspeople of the city. Against them stand Red Son and Princess Iron Fan, and General Ironclad with his henchmen.
